amigo is an SMS-based service operated by amigo (the "service") that sends and receives text messages on behalf of a sales leader to members of that leader's sales team about their named strategic accounts. these terms describe how the service works, how consent is obtained, and how to opt out.
messages are sent only to sales representatives who have been onboarded into the service by their own sales leader at the same company. the service is not used to message consumers, prospects, customers, or members of the general public. it is a B2B internal-team communication tool.
a sales leader (the "tenant administrator") onboards a member of their team by entering the rep's name, mobile phone number, and assigned strategic accounts into the amigo administrator interface. this action is taken inside the leader's own organization and reflects an existing employment relationship.
before any account-related messages are sent, amigo sends the rep a one-time confirmation message identifying itself, identifying the leader, explaining the program, and asking the rep to reply YES to confirm participation. no further messages are sent unless the rep replies YES.
the confirmation message reads, in substance:
once opted in, the rep receives short, account-specific text messages from the service. message content is limited to:
messages do not contain marketing, promotional content, advertising, or third-party offers.
typical frequency is one to four messages per rep per week, depending on how many strategic accounts the rep owns and whether the rep replies. message frequency may vary.
reply STOP at any time to any message from the service to be removed from the program. on receipt of STOP, amigo will send one final confirmation that the rep has been opted out, and will send no further messages to that number.

amigo does not charge the rep to participate. message and data rates from the rep's mobile carrier may apply. the service is paid for by the rep's employer.
the service supports US mobile carriers. carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
information shared in SMS messages with the service is handled per the privacy policy. amigo does not sell mobile information or share it with third parties for marketing.
